Laptop Repair Specials - Starting at only $50
Ozark Computer works is proud to offer some of the regions lowest rates on these common repairs. Some of which, we are the only ones who provide these types of repairs. Other companies simply mail your laptop away and outsource the work. Not us, we do all repairs in OUR shop.

AC Jack Replacements - $99 flat fee (includes parts and labor) (compare us to them): If your laptop is no longer charging, or will not power up when plugged in, it could be your AC Jack has failed.

Video Chipset Reflow, with new heat sink- $99 flat fee (compare us to them): If your laptop powers on, but there are lots of vertical lines in the display, or no display at all but you do have lights that come on, it is possibly a video issue.

LCD Screen Replacements (compare us to them)- $50 + Parts: Broken LCD? No problem. We can replace your broken LCD with a new one that has a 3 year warranty. Also, there is no markup on hardware. You pay what we pay, and we always try and save you money.

Hard drive Upgrade with no data changes - $50 + Parts (not offered by "them") : If your hard drive is full, there is no need to buy a new laptop. We can upgrade your laptops hard drive and you will not notice anything different, except the new additional space.

Complete Motherboard Replacement - $89 (laptop) + Parts (not offered by "them"): $75 (desktop) + parts If your computer is completely dead, it could use a new motherboard. Other companies won't touch these, but we do!

This will allow you the ability to correctly shut your computer and/or peripherals down, thus allowing you the opportunity to save your current work, as well as protect your computer from potential hardware failure.

Install latest system Basic Input Output System, also known as the System BIOS which interfaces your computers hardware and software together to enhance its performance and overall stability.

Complete Rebuild Special (compare us to them) - $119
Sometimes, your computer just will not perform right no matter what you try. Some people fight their computers for weeks before finally giving up and getting it serviced. These are good candidates for a rebuild. Below are the steps involved in giving your computer a "complete rebuild". This service that we provide is a fraction of the cost you will pay others. It is a tedious task and takes on average 4 hours to do it correctly. Cost of the complete rebuild special does not include operating system. I will use your disks, but if you don't have an OS disk, I will have to include that in the price.

Backup all documents and settings and make sure all files are "clean".

Delete and recreate hard drive partition (this ensures all root kits and boot sector issues are cleaned off before the rebuild).

Format the hard drive.

Install fresh copy of Windows with all updates.

Update system BIOS and all hardware drivers.
-
Install all free Adobe products (reader, flash, shockwave).

Install anti-virus, anti-malware, and anti-adware software and setup all for nightly (or daily) updates and scans for threats.

Install productivity suite.

Transfer backed up data to newly rebuilt computer.

Install and configure printers, email, mapped drives, etc if applicable.
